We’re pretty informal around here – we love beautiful pictures, we love comments and blog love, and we love to write about our clients and our daughter Claire. And that pretty much sums up what you will find on the MLP Blog: pictures, love, and more pictures – with a few Claire stories thrown in (just because – well – that’s fun too, right?:).

If you were wondering a little bit more about “Us” in MLP, here’s the thirty-second rundown:
Scott loves hunting, scouting for hunting, scouring Google Earth for new hunting spots, and fishing (especially bow fishing, and if it’s bow hunting for paddlefish then he’s doubly happy).
Claire loves dress-up, princesses, playing playing playing outside, and anything hunting-related (yep, you read her list correctly).
I love reading, bargain shopping, drinking wine with girlfriends, and designing massive house projects (note I said “designing”:). And, of course, I love LOVE love photography.
Loooooooove. It. Yes I do!

And in case you were hoping for a little more of the “traditional” About Us stuff (like, where we’re located, cause that’s good to know too) here you go:
Megan Lane Photography is based out of Helena, MT and we serve all of western Montana including Bozeman, Great Falls, Missoula, Butte, and surrounding areas. We specialize in wedding photography, baby & child portraits, Senior pictures, and maternity photography…basically any kind of pictures that involve people!:)
We have just recently finished the move into our big, beautiful, brand-new studio (that I designed and that my wonderful, amazing hubby built. All by himself. Did I mention that he is really really wonderful?)! The new space is Absolutely. Amazing. :) We also like to take advantage of all of the beautiful outdoor spaces in Helena and the greater Helena valley so we do lots of our sessions outside.

So I think that’s a pretty good start to who we are and what we do. The Megan Lane Photography business/journey/adventure has been such an incredible blessing in our lives–and it’s even more special because we get to share it with all of you!
