Our second Sneak Peek tonight is from the R Family and their brand-new-to-the-world oh-so-sweet Miss E. After photographing Erin & Josh’s wedding last summer and taking belly bump pictures this fall I could hardly wait to meet the newest member of their family. To see these two so completely head-over-heels for their baby girl honestly brought tears to my eyes (I know, I know, but it doesn’t matter how many times I see brand new mommies and daddies with their babies, it gives me goose bumps every time…). We did the session at their home because they had recently been given a rocking chair that had been hand-made by one of Josh’s great (great?) grandfathers. This chair has been rocking children in their family for over 100 years—and now it gets to rock the newest R baby girl to sleep. To include such an incredibly special heirloom in such a special shoot touched my heart. This is why I do this “photography” thing, it is such an honor to be a part of this much joy. Congrats Daddy & Mommy, and I can’t wait to snuggle again with Miss E at her 4 month shoot!
