Zack – Outdoor Senior Pictures – Helena MT Photographer

Posted by on Sep 20, 2012 in Senior Pictures

Zack is a Senior at Helena High with plans to stay in state next year for college (he originally said he’s leaning towards U of M – at which point I gave him massive grief for choosing the wrong school…he then said he was also *maybe* considering MSU, and then I told him he was a smart=).  He has just an awesome attitude and was so fun to shoot – I can see why his mom is so proud of him! (I’ve known his mom for a couple years now but this was the first time I had met Zack – and it was such a pleasure:)

Greg – Outdoor Senior Pictures – Helena MT Senior Photography

Posted by on Aug 25, 2012 in Senior Pictures

Greg and his parents have lived next door to us for at least six years now (is it maybe even seven???).  So it was such a nice surprise to be asked to take his Senior Pictures.  Nice because – well – I love taking Senior Pictures, and when I know the Senior it’s even nicer:)  And a surprise because – well – how can Greg be this old already?!?  I honestly think it was just last year that he was over at our house selling Peelers for Small Fry Football….  And – ok – obviously I’ve lost a few years there:)  Greg is indeed a Senior in High School (who has made the imminently intelligent decision to go to the best university next year, yep, future Montana State alum here folks!) and it was such fun taking his pictures.

Colton – Outdoor Senior Pictures – Helena MT Senior Photography

Posted by on Aug 24, 2012 in Senior Pictures

I met up with Colton to take his Senior pictures last week.  This [tall!] soft-spoken young man immediately impressed me with his ever-ready smile and great attitude.  And the fact that he brought along his younger sister Cammie (did I spell that right you guys??) just earned him infinite brownie points in my book:)  We had an absolutely gorgeous morning to play in and between admiring the baby turtles and ducks there was lots of laughter and great pictures taken (note to self:  before throwing out Dairy Queen references make sure the person eats ice cream…:).

Colton – it was such a pleasure taking your pictures – I’m so glad you had a great time and I hope you love these pics as much as I do!  (and Cammie you’re welcome to come along and hold wallets, shirts, keys, & phones and make silly faces over my shoulder anytime!:)

Sadie – Outdoor Senior Pictures – Helena MT Senior Photography

Posted by on Aug 20, 2012 in Senior Pictures

If I were to introduce this young lady as “Chicken Wing” you would probably wonder if I need to have my head examined – and though I may be a leetle crazy:) – there is a back-story on that nickname that involves a slinged arm due to a broken collarbone and a trip across the country for the National Science Olympiad competition in Georgia.  That trip was over four years ago now – and at that time Sadie was a seventh grader and part of the wonderful team of middle school students we took to Nationals (I was also lucky enough to have her as one of my students!).  Now Sadie is a Senior in high school – oh my **sniff** how time does fly…!

I felt so very fortunate to be able to take Sadie’s Senior Pictures – she was a cute cute 7th grader and now she is such a beautiful young woman—on the outside AND the inside.  She has a great sense of humor, such a kind heart, mad basketball skills, and a true flair for design (I think half of the time when I tell her mom that I love her jewelry she tells me Sadie made it!).  Getting to spend a couple of hours with her and her mom & sisters for this shoot was ridiculously fun.

I think her pictures show just how much fun we had – and just how beautiful Sadie is!

Aaris – Helena MT Senior Pictures

Posted by on Aug 16, 2011 in Senior Pictures

Had a simply fab-u-lous session with Miss Aaris last week for her Senior pictures.  I mean, check out these eyes!!  I don’t even know what color to call them…?  But did I love to photograph them?  Ohhh, you betcha!  She and I both love B&W photos (so you will have some in your Slideshow, Aaris, I promise!), but I am sooo in love with the colors & depth & saturation in these photos that these ones just had to stay this way:)  Hope ya’ll love them too!!
