What to do when you’re a 5’3” (ok ok, a 5’ 2.5”) photographer and you’re taking pictures for a 6’7” Senior….
Pick a location where you know you have some topography that will work in your favor, have the Senior sitting for some of the pictures, and bring your step ladder just in case!
Such was my preparation for this Senior session and it worked out great (I’m just glad his mom gave me a heads-up ahead of time! lol:)
Connor is a Senior at Capital High and along with playing basketball on the CHS team (shocking, I know) he also runs track—specifically the hurdles. I already knew he had Scott last year for ceramics so it didn’t surprise me at all to learn that he and Mr. Lane often discussed the hurdles. Buuuuut since I have none of those qualifications we pretty much stayed away from discussing anything specific about sports;)
Instead, we focused on taking pictures (easy for me) and palming the basketball (easy for Connor).
Win – win – win. :)
Connor – I had a great time meeting you and taking your Senior pictures. Best wishes for an amazing year!
