James & Ashley – Lakeside Ranch Wedding – Helena MT Wedding Photographer | Megan Lane Photography

James & Ashley got married on a goooooorgeous summer day at Lakeside Ranch last weekend. And, ohmigoodness, you couldn’t order up that perfection if you tried! It stayed in the low 80’s all day – not a cloud in the sky, just a breath of a breeze so the lake stayed like glass – and everyone at the wedding was SO incredibly happy to be celebrating with this couple!

There were little touches everywhere that spoke of the love these two have for each other and the love and support they have from their family and friends, from the pearl jewelry set hand-delivered by Ashley’s parents as she got ready in the morning, to the heartfelt speeches (and hunting jokes) at the reception. Laughter and appreciation come so naturally to these two – and to see their joy in every aspect of their day was pretty awesome. It also makes photographing them a breeze (their first look even made me tear up a little – James was soooo sweet).

All in all it was a pretty incredible day – one that we felt lucky to be a part of!
