After talking with Jaimie over the phone & email the last couple of months it was such fun to finally meet her and her fiancé Jason in person! We had hoped for brilliant fall colors but Mother Nature had other ideas when literally the night before our session all the leaves in Helena dropped to the ground…. BUT it was still a beautiful day for pictures—I mean, no snow in late October is still a pretty good deal in MT! And I had such a great time with these guys traipsing over fences, getting nosed by a really friendly horse, and nearly falling off a bridge (well, not really, it was only my boot heel that slipped off the edge & onto the trail…but for one heart stopping split second I had that feeling of falling—omigosh, not a good feeling, lol!:). These guys were totally up for anything (even though Jaimie fessed up afterwards that she really wasn’t feeling 100% due to an icky cold – tough girl, I didn’t even guess!) and I can already tell we’re going to have SUCH a good time at their wedding next year.
